OCBC’s US Corporate Banking team has been selectively building the US corporate client base across industries including, TMT, Healthcare, Renewables, Digital Infrastructure, Industrials, Fund Finance, and has committed to strategic syndicated or bilateral financings in a meaningful way. This specific role pertains to the Real Estate and Fund Finance sectors.

Given the bank’s recent and anticipated growth plans, OCBC US Corporate Banking team is seeking to add an Assistant Vice President (“AVP”) in the New York Office with corporate credit lending/underwriting experience and support Senior Relationship Managers in managing overall client relationships.

The AVP’s responsibilities are as follows:

• Responsible for deal processing, credit evaluation, and portfolio monitoring and loan maintenance within the US and Head Office Corporate banking team.

• Prepares credit memoranda/proposals/reviews and makes recommendations on new transactions, amendments, and waivers, and other borrower/agent requests.

• Evaluates credit requests by performing comprehensive financial analysis including cash flow, leverage, liquidity, and valuation/other measures. Prepares financial forecasts including base and stress case scenarios. Conducts thorough analysis of business, credit, peer, management, and industry trends. Identifies key risk and mitigants. Derives internal risk ratings.

• Monitors assigned loan portfolio to maintain credit quality through appropriate measures including covenant compliance testing, stress test analysis, internal ratings assessment, portfolio reviews and other internal bank requirements.

• Assists in closing of transactions (i.e., coordinating with KYC, Credit Admin, Legal and borrower).

• Attends client meetings, lender presentations, due diligence calls, site visits, industry events as required.

• Loan workout experience is a plus.

• Performs other duties as necessary to support the goals and objectives of the US Corporate Banking and Head Office.
