Job summary

Blackstone in New Jersey seeks a senior finance professional to oversee portfolio reconciliations for separately managed accounts and manage the annual audit process for reinsurance mandates. You will coordinate capital calls, manage fees, and ensure accurate regulatory reporting.

You will lead cross-functional teams, analyze performance metrics, and respond to investor and internal requests with precision. This role demands strong accounting expertise and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of public accounting, fund, or administrator experience.
• CPA and/or CFA preferred.
• Experience with credit products (loans, CLOs, bonds) is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly/quarterly portfolio reconciliation for separately managed accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Approve/prepare recurring investor capital calls and reconcile management fees.
• Manage the Audited Financial Statement process with external administrator and auditor for reinsurance mandates.
• Prepare and review expense allocations, budgets, and payments; monitor actual vs budget.
• Analyze portfolio metrics (total return/IRR, P&L) for senior management.
• Respond to client/internal requests including Blackstone reporting deliverables.
• Coordinate with Technology resources to automate recurring deliverables and improve efficiencies.
• Ensure regulatory filings (Form ADV) are accurate.
• Liaise with Investor Relations, Operations, Management Reporting, Legal and Compliance.
• Collaborate with offshore resources to ensure timely file preparation and training as needed.
• Review fund/deal documents and assist in setting up new products, managed accounts, and funds.
