The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in casualty or specialty reinsurance underwriting and proven success in managing profitable portfolios. The starting salary is between $150,000 and $200,000, plus an annual productivity bonus.
AmericanAg®, a global provider of diversified reinsurance services, is seeking an entrepreneurial Casualty & Specialty Treaty Underwriter to join its Broker Assumed operation. The Casualty Treaty Underwriter will play an important role in helping to drive our growth strategy. This is a hybrid position, working out of the Schaumburg, IL office a minimum of three days a week. There will be up to 25% travel.
The Casualty & Specialty Treaty Underwriter will assist with developing the underwriting strategy, building out the portfolio of casualty and specialty treaty reinsurance business, and expanding our footprint in the casualty and specialty reinsurance marketplace.
The expected starting salary range for this position is between $150,000 and $200,000. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position is also eligible for an annual productivity bonus.
