Job summary

AmericanAg® invites university students to join its internship program in Schaumburg, Illinois, for a summer, working closely with dedicated departments on a hands-on project. Interns will gain exposure to reinsurance, client relations, underwriting, claims, and IT, with mentorship and professional development opportunities.

We seek juniors and seniors who are curious about insurance and eager to learn, offering a flexible schedule and opportunity to work up to 8.33 hours per day.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Business Objects, Power BI) is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in an organized manner.
• Insurance knowledge or pursuing a degree in business, computer science, information systems, or related field (preferred).

AmericanAg®, a global provider of diversified reinsurance services, is looking for students to participate in our internship program next summer. These positions will be based in our office in Schaumburg, Illinois.The interns will work closely with their respected departments to work on a summer project and tasks. Our organization has proudly offered internship opportunities across Reinsurance, Client Relations, Underwriting, Claims, and Information Technology, providing interns with valuable industry experience.

These internships offer a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to meaningful projects. We are looking for students who will be between their junior and senior years of college during the summer that have an interest in insurance and are eager to learn new things.

What you will bring to this position:
