Job summary

Connelly School of The Holy Child, Inc. seeks an Assistant Varsity Swim coach for the season running 11/11/26–2/15/27. Practices occur 2-3 times weekly after 3:00 PM at Lakewood Country Club, with meets during the week at 4:00 PM or 7:00 PM. The coach will plan practices and meets, maintain equipment, and communicate with student-athletes and families to foster a positive team environment.

The stipend for this position is $3,000 for the season.

Assistant Varsity Swim 11/11/26 – 2/15/27

Practices occur 2-3 times weekly Monday - Friday between the hours of 3:00-4:30 PM at Lakewood Country Club. Meets occur mostly during the week at 4:00 PM or 7:00 PM.

Coaching Skills/Requirements:

Candidates should have prior coaching experience, with playing experience at the high school and/or college level preferred. The coach will report to the Athletic Director and will be responsible for planning and conducting practices and meets, as well as organizing and maintaining team equipment. The coach will also be expected to communicate effectively with student-athletes, families, and other members of the athletic department and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

The stipend for this position is $3,000.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, coaches, and community.
• Experience coaching/participating in ice hockey at the high school or collegiate level. Knowledge of applicable league rules.
• Excellent organizational and motivational skills

COMPENSATION

The stipend for this position is $3,000 for the season.
