Ashland High School is seeking anassistant varsity girls lacrosse coach for the 2026 season. Ashland’s coaches are actively engaged in the community, and embrace both the mission and values of the Athletic Department and APS School District. The role of theasssistant varsity girls lacrosse coach is to be responsible for coaching, character development and providing direction to student athletes so that they might achieve a high level of skill as well as an appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship and teamwork in lacrosse. This job requires you to interact thoughtfully and respectfully with student athletes, fellow coaches, staff, parents and community and well as follow the mission of the school. Positive communication strategies, organizational skills, and safety awareness are key requirements. Theassistant varsity girls lacrosse coach reports to the Athletic Director. Requirements:

• Previous coaching and/or playing experience at the high school level or above is preferred.

• Available to practice after school, weekends and evenings
• Establish team goals, team rules, communicate these to all Commitment to program
• CPR/First Aid Certified Preferred
