Job summary

Minnwest Bank in Summit, SD is seeking a full-time Assistant Universal Banker to provide professional customer experience from sales to service and to transition customers to bankers for banking products and services while servicing existing accounts.

The role may require travel to the Minnwest Bank Training Center in Eagan, MN for Universal Banker training. If a bank vehicle is available, it may be used; otherwise mileage will be reimbursed for using personal vehicle.

Qualifications

• 6 months cash handling and customer service experience
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
• Dependable, organized team player with a positive attitude
• Ability to communicate with customers and coworkers in a clear, effective professional manner
• Willing to continuously learn and grow within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous customer service by identifying and recommending bank products and services to fulfill needs.
• Process routine transactions such as deposits, cash handling, receipts, cashier's checks, cashing checks, and paying out funds.
• Proactively transition customers and prospects opportunities to achieve sales and service goals.
• Assist customers with account changes or inquiries and resolve issues.
• Maintain knowledge of all bank products and services.
• Comply with Minnwest Bank policies and state/federal banking laws and regulations.
