As an Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) for the Southern District of Indiana, you will have the privilege to serve the people and uphold the Constitution. This position leads the U.S. Attorney's Office's (USAO) e-discovery practice in both Civil and Criminal Divisions.
The USAO is the federal government's principal litigator in the Southern District of Indiana. As an AUSA, you will be essential in carrying out the Department of Justice's mission to uphold the law, protect civil rights, and represent the United States in court.
Criminal Division AUSAs prosecute federal crimes, while Civil Division AUSAs defend the government and pursue civil claims. E-discovery is vital to both divisions, and managing it effectively is key to the USAO's success. This new position involves developing processes for discovery and supporting litigators, supervising litigation support staff, and collaborating with law enforcement and federal agencies.
Our office offers a dedicated team committed to our mission, providing tailored training and development. Candidates should have at least one year of legal experience, with strong preference for experience in electronically stored information, complex discovery, and discovery management software.
