Job summary

Qualifications

• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure.
• RN 2 level or equivalent experience.
• National Certification required within twelve months of hire.
• Demonstrates analytical ability and ability to use electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes quality monitoring data to assess clinical processes.
• Leads unit quality initiatives and evidence-based practices.
• Develops and manages unit and department level process improvements.
• Ensures compassionate, effective communication with patients and families.
• Partners with peers and other departments to improve clinical and service outcomes.
• Resolves conflicts to improve team relationships and shared governance.
• Provides staff education and coaching to strengthen critical thinking.

Education

Bachelor's degree in nursing

Graduate degree preferred
