Job summary

The Gardner School of Louisville is hiring an Assistant Two's Teacher. You will assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate activities, support emotional and behavioral development, and maintain a clean, safe classroom.

We offer competitive pay from $15.30 to $18.90 per hour based on education and experience, plus comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional development within our mission-driven preschool.

Qualifications

• Education/Certification: High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• CDA or 2 year degree in Early Childhood Education or related (preferred).
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Experience: 1+ years of experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. (Required)

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Offer nurturing guidance that supports each child’s emotional and behavioral development.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom by supporting daily routines, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
• Collaborate with teaching team members and school leaders to ensure consistency across classrooms.
• Uphold a professional, team-oriented mindset at all times.
