Job summary

Little Stepping Stones of Garner is seeking a full-time Assistant Daycare Teacher to support the Two's age group. A high school diploma and ability to pass background checks are required; prior childcare experience is a plus. Shift is Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher with all classroom aspects in line with the center's philosophy and goals.
• Implement activities that support growth in emotional, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
• Take direction, accept feedback, and make improvements for the quality of the program.
• Create and maintain a clean and safe environment for all children.
• Establish a professional rapport with families to provide quality care.
• Physically able to work around small children; sit, stand, walk, run, climb stairs, and lift up to 40 lbs.

Assistant Daycare Teacher

Little Stepping Stones of Garner is a licensed childcare center seeking full-time Assistant Teachers to support the following age groups:

• Two's

To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma and the ability to pass all background checks. A plus if you have previous childcare experience!

Required Shift: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm

Compensation: $14-$17/hr, based on education and experience

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead teacher with all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.

• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
