Job summary

The Town of Natick Department of Public Works seeks an Assistant Town Engineer to assist the Town Engineer in the administrative and technical activities of the Engineering Division. The Assistant supports meeting division goals and helps manage major infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's in civil engineering and EIT certification.
• Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
• Combination of education, experience, and training may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist Town Engineer by planning, organizing and directing field and office activities.
• Review plans and designs for Natick infrastructure and MADOT projects.
• Authorize utility and street construction permits and enforce regulations.
• Support capital planning and infrastructure stewardship.

Education

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering

Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification

Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
