Coddington Learning Center in Lincoln, NE is hiring an Assistant Toddler Teacher for an 18‑month to 3‑year classroom. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 5:15 PM.

The role requires patience, energy, and a willingness to assist with diaper changes and toilet training in a warm, nurturing environment. You will implement a creative curriculum, engage children through stories and activities, monitor social development, and maintain a clean, safe classroom while updating parents on daily

Qualifications

• 18+ years old required.
• 1500 clock hours in a childcare setting or willingness to complete online training within 6 months.
• Must pass all background checks required by Childcare Licensing.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to sit on the floor to engage with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow and help develop creative activities suitable for toddlers.
• Use storytelling, educational play, and media to teach children.
• Observe each child to support social development and self-esteem.
• Encourage interaction and help resolve conflicts among children.
• Guide children through a curriculum with shapes, numbers, colors, and crafts.
• Communicate with parents about the child’s day and activities.
• Collaborate with lead teacher.
• Help maintain a clean, safe classroom.

Coddington Learning Center is looking for a fun, energetic, patient teacher to join our team as an Assistant Toddler Teacher. The age range in out toddler room is 18 months to 3 years old.
