Smith High School is seeking an Assistant-Title I paraprofessional to support at‑risk students under the supervision of a certified teacher. This non-exempt role assists with tutoring, classroom management, and instructional tasks within the school setting.
The position follows the district's 187-day school year and includes duties in computer labs, libraries, and parent involvement activities under supervision.

Assist in the preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements for at-risk students under the supervision of a certified teacher.
Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including computer and peripherals; standard instructional equipment
Posture: Moderate standing; occasional kneeling, squatting, bending, and stooping
Motion: Moderate walking
Lifting: Regular light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds); Occasional heavy lifting (over 45 pounds).
Environment: Work inside and outside (exposure to sun, heat, cold, and inclement weather); exposure to noise
Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress
Other: Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures; Other duties as assigned
