Job summary

ProTennisJobs.com is seeking an Assistant Tennis Lead for a Creve Coeur club in Missouri. The role supports the Tennis Manager in directing and supervising the department, ensuring staff deliver quality lessons and programs while contributing to the department's budget and revenue goals.

Responsibilities include developing safe, professional tennis programs, instructing students, assessing performance, training staff, assigning pro staff to classes, and helping meet monthly targets.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching tennis lessons.
• USPTA and/or PTR certification required.
• CPR and AED certification within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive tennis lessons and programs to ensure students are satisfied with their program and remain motivated to attain their fitness goals
• Monitors, demonstrates, and instructs students during tennis lessons on proper forms, techniques, and strategies to improve their overall tennis game
• Observes and assesses students' performance to detect and correct mistakes
• Assists with training and developing staff through quality orientations, direction, and feedback
• Assigns Tennis Pros to classes and lessons and assists with payroll
• Assists with ensuring each Tennis Pros achieve or exceed monthly revenue and lesson goals
