Job summary

Chick-fil-A Langhorne is seeking an Assistant Team Leader to help guide restaurant operations, train new team members, and ensure guest satisfaction.

You will open/close stations, support the Team Leader’s shift plan, coach teammates, enforce food safety, and model the company’s values in a fast-paced, people-first environment.

Responsibilities

• Train new team members and open/close assigned stations as needed.
• Assist team members during breaks and execute the shift plan.
• Serve as a role model and uphold Chick-fil-A values and policies.
• Provide coaching and feedback based on Pathway training modules.
• Address and resolve guest concerns and manage resources responsibly.
• Participate in regular leader meetings and performance evaluations.

Objective:

An Assistant Team Leader is the third level of leadership at Chick-fil-A Langhorne. An Assistant Team Leader candidate is identified by performing with excellence and consistency, as well as exhibiting “soft” leadership skills. The Assistant Leader position is heavily task oriented (e.g. training, opening & closing assigned stations, positioning team members, executing breaks as per Team Leaders shift plan), but they still function operationally as a leader in a team member position. They are also expected to implement/enforce the Team Leaders game plan & are capable of proficiently running the shift for small amounts of time. They are dedicated to training & developing others. They, also, must have a strong awareness of Chick-fil-A systems, policies and procedures.
