Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

ECS Limited offers a unique opportunity for a talented and certified Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Assistant Team Leader to join our Erie team. We offer opportunities for professional development with additional incentives as you advance your skills and gain experience. In this role, you will successfully ensure that our technicians are properly trained and organized through mentorship within the Field Services department.

  • Field Activities: Perform observation, testing, sampling, and inspection of materials, including soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel placement on construction sites.
  • Safety: Inventory maintenance and organization of supplies; Calibration and maintenance of field equipment to include keeping accurate records; Promote safety and safety culture; Ensure proper PPE is used on project sites; Assist with company required safety training.
  • Communication: Daily communication with technicians, project managers, and general contractors; Collaborate with Team Leaders to support scheduling operations and recruiting to maintain appropriate staff among your team; Assist with management of field staff; Actively mentor and train junior field staff as they grow in their careers; Provide support to project managers and department manager as needed; Attend project meetings as requested; May participate in business development, marketing, and client development.
