Job summary

University of Colorado Boulder’s Leeds School of Business invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Social Responsibility and Sustainability Division, beginning Spring 2027. The position will teach undergraduate and possibly graduate courses, with focus areas in markets, business ethics/philosophy, and social responsibility.

The appointment is a two-year contract with a salary of $90,000 per year and relocation assistance of $2,000 if moving from beyond a 50-mile radius.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business, economics, psychology, sociology, history, education, law, philosophy, sustainability, or related discipline.
• At least one year of university teaching experience at undergraduate level.
• Experience with innovative teaching approaches (class simulations, experiential learning, online tools).
• Collegial, team-teaching approach across multiple sections.

Responsibilities

• Teach seven sections per year across undergraduate and possibly graduate courses.
• Develop and refine curricula; collaborate with Leeds Centers on related courses.
• Advise students and provide departmental service as needed.
• Prepare for and teach courses, evaluate student work, maintain records, and hold office hours.
