The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at RiceUniversity, located in Houston, Texas, invites applications for anon-tenure track assistant teaching professor position.
The candidate will be expected to teach Chemical and BiomolecularEngineering to undergraduate students; mentor assigned graduate andundergraduate student teaching assistants; advise assignedundergraduate students on curriculum selection, electives, etc;ensure progress towards the degree is on track; lead effort forABET accreditation, coordinating program assessments, ensuringcompliance with ABET requirements, and preparing review documents;participate in curriculum development for BSChE and BA programs;serve on undergraduate program committee; and engage in continuousprofessional development to promote innovation in teaching andcourse development.
