The Gardner School of Franklin is seeking energetic Assistant Teachers to join a passionate team. You will support the Lead Teacher with planning and delivering age-appropriate activities, while nurturing each child’s emotional, social, and cognitive growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year of experience with children ages 6 weeks–5 years preferred.
• Meets Tennessee state licensing requirements for early childhood staff.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate curriculum.
• Nurture each child’s emotional, social, and cognitive development.
• Engage with children during learning, play, and transitions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
• Build positive relationships with families and communicate regularly.
