Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, seeks an assistant teacher to support teachers in delivering individualized services to K-12 students with special needs. You will work with small groups, monitor student progress, and collaborate with staff to implement SESI's instructional model.

Starting salary is USD 20.00 per hour. The role emphasizes safety, behavior support, and inclusive education, with training and credentialing support and a robust benefits package

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead small group instruction and implement SESI’s instructional model.
• Collaborate with the teacher to provide customized behavior and academic support and conduct assessments.
• Reinforce learning with one-on-one tutorials and monitor student progress.
• Assist the teacher with large group activities, grading, and accommodations as necessary.
• Utilize behavior support and de-escalation techniques to ensure safety.
