Hartford HealthCare's Institute of Living seeks an assistant who can provide individual and small group instruction to students under supervision, offering support as part of the school team. The role includes crisis management to maintain order in the milieu and reporting to the principal or assistant principal.

The ideal candidate has experience with children and a Bachelor's Degree; DMV requirements for transporting students may be required.

Job Summary

Provides individual and small group instruction to students under the supervision of a teacher to provide individual support for students as needed. Is trained and able to provide crisis management to manage behaviors in the milieu. The assistant is a participating member if the school team and performs duties to support that team. Reports to school principal/assistant principal.
