Job summary

Child Development Schools in Chattanooga, TN is seeking an Assistant Teacher for Closing Part Time. You will support a Lead Teacher, deliver age-appropriate activities, and help create a warm, safe classroom where children explore and grow.

You will engage with children during meals, transitions, and outdoor time; observe and share developmental notes; communicate with families; and help with attendance and daily reports. Pay is 13–15 USD per hour, with benefits for full-time staff.

Assistant Teacher, Closing Part Time - Chattanooga, Tennessee

Your role

As an Assistant Teacher at Child Development Schools, you will help create a classroom filled with discovery, creativity, learning, and joy. Working alongside your Lead Teacher, you will support young learners through meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth. From hands-on activities and storytelling to everyday learning moments, you will help shape a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them.

You will serve as a trusted partner to families, a positive role model for children, and an important part of our collaborative teaching team dedicated to making early childhood education engaging, nurturing, safe, and fun.

What Your Day Looks Like

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom

Pay And Benefits
