Job summary

The Learning Tree in Wichita Falls, TX is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Teacher to support lead teachers with daily lesson plans and activities in a nurturing classroom. This role offers meaningful opportunities to observe and contribute to early childhood growth, while forming strong relationships with children and families.

You will supervise children, assist with preparing materials, maintain a clean environment, support social and emotional development, encourage curiosity and play,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in early childhood education preferred.
• Love for working with children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Basic understanding of child development principles.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Flexibility to work part-time morning hours.
• Background check clearance required.
