Mercy Coworker Children's Center in Springfield, MO, is seeking a part-time childcare assistant to support the preschool program under the supervision of the teacher. Responsibilities include assisting with care and age-appropriate activities and maintaining a safe, engaging environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or active Mercy Win from Within participation, plus registry eligibility within 15 days of hire.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required, OR active participant in Mercy Win from Within program.
• Must be registered with the State of practice Family Care Safety Registry within 15 days of hire.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and awareness of developmentally appropriate practices.
• Preferred: 2 college credits in Early Childhood Education.
• Experience: 1 year of childcare.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Qualifications:
• Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, OR active participant in the Mercy Win from Within program.
• Licensure:
  • Must be registered with the State of practice Family Care Safety Registry within 15 days of hire.
• Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:
  • Strong communication works well was a team, aware of developmentally appropriate.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Education:
  • 2 college credit hours in Early Childhood Education or related Education Field.
• Experience:
  • 1-year childcare experience.
