Child Development Schools is seeking an Assistant Teacher in Little Rock, AR to support the Lead Teacher, engage children in activities, and help maintain a safe, organized classroom. The role emphasizes hands‑on learning, storytelling, and daily notes to track development, with a focus on curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age‑appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom.

• Engage directly with kids during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time.
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher.
• Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication.
• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports.
