Job summary

Kids Country Child Care & Learning Center is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Teacher for the Infant Room. 12:30 pm - 5:30 pm with potential full-time hours. You’ll support the lead teacher, engage infants in activities, and assist across classrooms on a busy campus.

The role requires 18+ years old, 1+ year childcare, and education-related coursework. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain is preferred. Weekend off, on-site amenities, and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• 1+ year of experience in a childcare center.
• 1+ year of college credits in Education or pursuing a degree in Education.
• Meets MN Rule 3 requirements for Assistant Teacher.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willing to become certified.
• Strong communication with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Interact with students, parents, and teachers.
• Assist lead teacher with daily activities (art, science, music, movement).
• Create a nurturing learning environment.

JOIN OUR INFANT ROOM TEAM!

Kids Country Child Care & Learning Center is looking for an enthusiastic and caring Assistant Teacher to help create a fun, nurturing environment for our youngest learners! This position offers a great opportunity to spend time in the Infant Room, support teachers during breaks, assist with toddler activities after nap, and lend a helping hand across classrooms as the day winds down. Kids Country is currently in search of a Part Time Assistant Teacher for our Infant Room to join their team!

Hours mainly would consist of: 12:30 pm - 5:30 pm but can be flexible based on your schedule/the needs of the center.

Looking for a full time position? This position may be available with full-time hours!

What your days will look like as an Assistant Teacher at Kids Country:

• Interacting and building relationships with students, parents, and other teachers
• Assisting the lead teacher in daily activities such as art, science, music and movement.
• Creating and leading a supportive, nurturing learning environment
• Teaching children how to interact with the world around them
• Taking students on field trips
• Participating in special campus events
• Overseeing daily activities, such as science experiments, cooking class, music, games, arts and crafts, dance parties, recreational play in the gym and outdoor playgrounds, and so much more

Qualifications:

• 18+ years of age
• 1+ year experience in a childcare center
• 1+ year of full-time college credits in Education or a related field; or be working towards a degree in Education
• Meets the requirements under MN Rule 3 to be an Assistant Teacher
• CPR/First Aid Certified, or willing to become certified
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children and families
