Job summary

Magen David Yeshivah in New York seeks a General and Judaic Studies Assistant Teacher to support daily lessons, classroom routines, and student growth in a warm Jewish environment.

Candidates must have a high school diploma, Hebrew and Judaic knowledge, and experience with children. The school follows the Jewish calendar and the shift runs from 8:20 AM to 3:20 PM.

Qualifications

• Assistant Teachers must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Hebrew language and strong Judaic knowledge is a must
• Experience working with children is a must, preferably in a camp/school setting
• Must be able to start work at 8:20 AM for arrival and/or stay until 3:20 dismissal.

• Supporting each child's social, emotional, and intellectual growth and development.
• Ensuring the wellbeing and safety of children at all times.
