Chroma Early Learning Academy in Austell, GA is hiring an Assistant Teacher to support lead teachers in a safe, nurturing classroom for young children. You will help implement age-appropriate activities, supervise children, and maintain a clean, organized space while communicating with families.

The role requires patience, reliability, and a passion for early childhood education, with willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid and meet Georgia Bright from the Start guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass a Background Check.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Ability to meet all requirements under Georgia's Bright from the Start and Quality Rated guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in providing daily care to children in the classroom and ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and engaging classroom environment that adheres to Georgia DECAL and Quality Rated standards.
• Assist in the implementation of a curriculum that promotes sensory exploration, early communication, and gross motor development.
• Monitor and document developmental milestones, and regularly communicate with families.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines related to licensing and program compliance.
• Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development, and required training for Quality Rated compliance.
