Qualifications

• High school diploma required; ECE degree preferred.
• Experience with young children in licensed childcare or preschool.
• Shows empathy and compassion for children.
• Ability to work productively with minimal supervision.
• Basic understanding of child development.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and meet state checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive and physical development.
• Prepare classroom materials and maintain a safe, inviting space.
• Supervise children and provide individualized support as needed.
• Communicate with families about progress and daily activities.
• Follow health, safety, and licensing guidelines.
