Job summary

SUMMIT Early Learning in Lewisburg, PA, is hiring an Assistant Teacher to join a caring classroom team. You’ll support daily routines, help plan activities, supervise children, and foster a warm, safe learning environment across Lewisburg, Lewistown, and Selinsgrove centers.

SUMMIT Early Learning is looking for caring, dependable Assistant Teachers to join our early childhood teams. As an Assistant Teacher, you’ll work alongside our teaching staff to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where young children can learn, play, and grow.

What You’ll Do

As an Assistant Teacher, you’ll be an active part of the classroom team. You will:

• Assist with daily classroom routines, activities, and learning experiences
• Support teachers with planning and implementing classroom activities
• Supervise and engage with children during indoor and outdoor activities
• Create a warm, caring, positive, and welcoming classroom environment
• Support the individual development and needs of each child
• Help maintain a safe, healthy, and organized classroom
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers

Qualifications

Pay

Full-time | 40 hours/week | Monday–Friday | Full-year

$15.56–$17.40/hour based on qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience: $15.56/hour
• CDA: $16.81/hour
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree: $17.40/hour
