ADP, Inc. in Gallatin, TN invites applications for a full-time Teacher Assistant. The role supports the Lead Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children.

You will help implement activities, supervise daily routines, and build positive relationships with children and families. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, with preferred CDA/AA/BA in Early Childhood Education and experience in group settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDA, AA, or BA/BS in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Experience with young children in a group setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher with planning and implementing daily classroom activities.
• Provide supervision and guidance to children during routines and transitions.
• Support a positive classroom environment that encourages learning and development.
• Ensure health, safety, and well-being of all children in care.
• Maintain required staff-to-child ratios at all times.
• Assist with meals, rest, hygiene, and outdoor play.
• Follow all licensing policies and maintain attendance and documentation.
• Greet families daily and communicate respectfully with parents and guardians.
• Complete DHS trainings and participate in staff meetings and professional development.
• Provide classroom coverage as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
