Imagine Early Learning Centers in Newark, NJ seeks an Assistant Teacher for a safe, nurturing early childhood program. You will assist in planning developmentally appropriate activities and support licensing and accreditation processes.

This full-time role offers competitive pay ($17.00–$22.00/hr) and a strong benefits package, including ESOP ownership, vacation and sick days, health coverage, life insurance, commuter benefits, tuition reimbursement, and professional development.

Qualifications

• CDA or Associates Degree in Early Childhood, Elementary, Special Education, preferred or in progress
• Experience teaching children in an Early Childhood program preferred
• NAEYC standards knowledge a plus

Responsabilités

• Participate in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum
• Ensure compliance with licensing and NAEYC guidelines
• Effective communication with families, staff and board
• Ability to meet physical requirements of position which include lifting children, pushing strollers/buggies, sitting on the floor and year-round daily outdoor activities
