Bright Horizons is hiring an Assistant Teacher in the Gaithersburg, MD area. Full-time and part-time positions are available for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

You’ll assist with hands-on activities, communicate with families, and maintain a safe, clean classroom while supporting coverage across centers. Qualifications

• Background checks required by state and Bright Horizons; education and experience minimums apply.
• Minimum age 16 with valid work permit.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year experience in childcare preferred.
• CDA/Associate/Bachelor in early education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet children's needs and interests.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following procedures and guidelines.
