Bright Horizons in Gaithersburg, MD, is hiring an Assistant Teacher to work with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. In person, full-time or part-time roles are available across centers and nearby locations.

You will assist in activities, communicate with parents, and help maintain a safe classroom environment, while supporting coverage across age groups as needed. A CDA/degree in early education is preferred, with state background checks required.

Qualifications

• Background checks required by state and company.
• Minimum age 16 with valid work permit.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; CDA/Associate/Bachelor's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet children's needs and interests.
• Maintain open communication with parents about daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe, clean classroom by following procedures and guidelines.
