Children of America in Florida is seeking an Assistant Teacher in Early Childhood Education to support Lead Teachers and create a safe, engaging classroom for children from 6 weeks to 12 years. You will help implement daily lesson plans, supervise activities, document progress, and communicate with families.

The role offers full-time hours, competitive hourly pay, and benefits such as childcare discounts and career growth.

What You'll Do

As an Assistant Teacher, you'll partner with Lead Teachers to create a fun, safe, and engaging classroom where children can explore, learn, and develop.

Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED.
• A genuine passion for working with children.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, flexible, and able to work as part of a team.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Previous childcare experience is a plus, but not required! We're interested in individuals who are passionate about children and eager to grow in the field of early childhood education.

Compensation

Hourly Pay Range: $16.00-$18.00

Final compensation is based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional incentives may apply where eligible.
