Overview: Collaborate with teachers to support small groups of students, monitor behavior, track progress, communicate with parents, and reinforce learning through our proven models.

Responsibilities:

• Work with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Lead small group instruction using SESI’s academic rotational model.
• Assist in providing behavioral and academic support, assessments, and tailored interventions.
• Support large group activities, grading, and accommodations.
• Implement de-escalation and crisis management techniques.
• Support daily planning and track student progress.
• Supervise students ensuring safety at all times.
• Collaborate with staff to meet student needs.

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree or 60 college credits required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with students with special needs is a plus.
• Valid Sub-License preferred.

Salary Range: Starting from USD $16.25/hr.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to move swiftly, lift up to 50 pounds, and assist students physically.
• Operate a computer or tablet for extended periods.
• Respond to non-verbal cues and remain calm in demanding situations.
