Strong preference given to candidates with a California Teaching Credential, experience in literacy instruction, Language Arts specialists (Linda Mood Bell, Orton-Gillingham or Wilson trained)and experience working with students with learning differences. The position has the possibility for growth and expansion of responsibilities. The Assistant Teacher is responsible for supporting the Head Teacher in managing all classroom responsibilities for a group of students with a variety of special education needs.
