Job summary

Rochester Regional Health System invites applications for an Assistant Teacher in our Child Care program. This part-time position (25 hours/week) in Rochester, NY supports a developmentally appropriate classroom and builds strong relationships with families.

The role assists the lead teacher in delivering daily activities, maintaining safety, and fostering each child’s growth across physical, social, cognitive, and emotional domains. Training and collaboration with staff are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 1 year of experience working with children under 13.

Hours Per Week: 25

Schedule: Part-Time, Day Shift, Monday to Friday- 1:00 am to 6:00 pm

PAY RANGE: $16.25 - $18.43 CITY: Rochester POSTAL CODE: 14626 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
