Job summary

Children's Learning Centers of Fairfield County is seeking an entry-level Assistant Teacher to support developmentally appropriate curricula and classroom operations on-site in Stamford, CT. The role emphasizes collaboration with families, documentation of child progress, and adherence to policies and regulatory standards.

The position requires at least 12 college credits in Early Childhood Education or a CDA, with a preferred ECE certificate.

Qualifications

• Minimum: 12 college credits in Early Childhood Education and/or CDA.
• Preferred: ECE Certificate.
• Experience working with children ages 0–5 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Salary Range: $18.50 - $20.00 Hourly
• Job Shift: Day 37.5 Hours Per Week

• Job Type: Full-time; 35–40 hours weekly depending on location (schedules are typically early mornings to mid-afternoons).
• Length of Work Year: 51 weeks
• Salary Range: $18.50-20.00/hour (rates are based on education and total college credits specific to Early Childhood Education, as per union contract)
