Job summary

The Learning Experience in Massachusetts is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities for Little Learners from infancy to preschool. You will help maintain safe, tidy classrooms and contribute to a joyful learning atmosphere.

The role requires at least a high school credential, 18+, and preferably 1+ year of childcare experience. Licensing guidelines must be followed, with opportunities for advancement within the center.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (ECE coursework preferred).
• 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years of childcare experience preferred; ability to meet state/local licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized classrooms in line with TLE standards.
• Monitor children's growth and celebrate progress.
• Communicate daily updates with families via the app.
• Collaborate with teachers to create a positive learning environment.

Join our HAPPY Early Childhood Academic childcare center as an Assistant Teacher! Our centers are focused on developing Little Learners from infancy to preschool. We make early education and daycare joyful, engaging, and fun so children are happy to LEARN, PLAY and GROW.

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent; ECE coursework preferred


• 18 years of age or older


• 1+ years’ experience in childcare preferred.


• Ability to meet state/local childcare licensing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support fun learning environments by helping to deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.


• Create safe & happy spaces by ensuring TLE standards and protocols for clean, safe, and organized classrooms where Little Learners can explore and learn are adhered to daily.


• Monitor growth and development of understanding key milestones and celebrating their progress.


• Build relationships and communication with families and share daily updates and cheerful moments via our mobile app.


• Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a supportive and happy learning environment.
