Job summary

RED LODGE AREA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support our Waldorf-inspired, LifeWays-centered program. Work roughly seven hours daily from Monday to Thursday, with potential for an expanded schedule and growth within the role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily needs and activities of some of our littlest Bluebells. This includes feeding, diapering, and napping the children.
• Help with the daily cleaning of the home to maintain a safe and clean environment
• Connect with the children daily through stories, songs, and movement
• Guide and help supervise a mixed-age group of up to 15 children.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school planning and events
• Maintain a nurturing, warm, and developmentally appropriate environment

Job description

We are seeking a wonderful human to become an Assistant Teacher. Currently, we are looking for someone to work around 7 hours per day, Monday through Thursday. There is the potential for growth in this position, as well as an expanded schedule. Pay begins at $18/hour or is negotiable based on experience.
