Job description

We are hiring Teacher Assistants, Assistant Teachers, and Child Care Assistants for our Guidepost Montessori schools in Oregon, including Portland, Beaverton, and Tigard!

Join us to empower children aged 0 to 6 years to develop independence, self-confidence, and a love of learning.

Your Role

We seek enthusiastic, adaptable Teacher Assistants (Guides) to support mixed-age classes of Infants, Toddlers, and preschool children (ages 3-6) in a Montessori environment.

In our Montessori setting, Assistant Teachers prepare environments that foster independence and engagement. Guides provide personalized support through individual and small-group lessons, demonstrating the use of materials and language to enhance understanding.

Children enjoy the freedom to explore and choose activities, supported by materials and guidance that help develop skills, confidence, and a sense of capability.

We are also looking for Child Care Assistants committed to helping each child reach their highest potential.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience working with children aged 0-6
• AA degree or 20 units in ECE or Child Development
