The Learning Experience in Oak Creek, WI is seeking a caring Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. You will support Lead Teachers with daily routines, engage children through play, and help deliver safe, engaging learning experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous daycare, preschool, childcare, or experience working with children preferred.
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus.

• Ability to meet Wisconsin childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Engage children through play, art, music, movement, sensory activities, and hands-on learning.
• Assist with meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, outdoor play, and transitions.
• Provide attentive supervision and positive guidance.
• Help prepare classroom activities and learning materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Collaborate with teachers and center leadership.
• Provide classroom and ratio coverage as needed.
• Follow Wisconsin childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
