My Kids Childcare Inc. in Mentor, Ohio is looking for an Assistant Teacher to support the Lead Teacher in guiding children through important developmental milestones and to plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities.

You will help create a warm, safe classroom where children feel loved, supported, and excited to learn, with opportunities for growth in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Genuine love for working with children.
• Previous childcare experience is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to learn and grow in early childhood education.
• Dependable, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must meet state background check and health requirements.

About the Role:

As an Assistant Teacher, you’ll support the Lead Teacher in guiding children through important developmental milestones—emotionally, socially, and cognitively. You’ll help plan and implement fun, age-appropriate activities, provide comfort and consistency, and contribute to a classroom environment where children feel safe, loved, and ready to learn.
