The Learning Experience in Deerfield Beach is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support the care, learning, and development of infants, toddlers, and preschool children.

Working with a Lead Teacher, you will help maintain a safe, engaging classroom and assist with daily routines, activities, and individual needs. This role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and professional conduct to support families and the center.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Childcare, daycare, preschool, nanny, camp, babysitting, or teaching experience preferred.
• Early Childhood Education coursework or training preferred.
• Dependable with strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must meet applicable state licensing, background screening, health, and training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Engage infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in age-appropriate learning, play, and activities.
• Assist Lead Teacher with lessons, routines, supervision, and transitions.
• Support feeding, diapering, toileting, dressing, and other age-appropriate care.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom and follow center policies.
• Build positive relationships with children and families and support a safe classroom.

The Learning Experience is hiring an Assistant Teacher to support the care, learning, and development of infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children.

Working with a Lead Teacher, you'll help maintain a safe, engaging classroom and support children throughout their daily routines and learning activities.
