Job description

We are recruiting assistant teachers with a passion for kids who can help to promote the social, cognitive, and emotional development of the children entrusted into our care. We are seeking out individuals with a heart for learning and those who are ready and motivated to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children and their families.

• Must be optimistic, team-oriented and dedicated to the well-being of our children and daily center operations.
• Assist w/ implementing the daily lesson plan and curriculum in a way that meets each child’s unique learning style.
• Effectively communicate w/ children, their parents and other co-workers assist w/ Maintaining control of the classroom through effective transitioning and setting boundaries.
• Use positive child guidance strategies to instruct children.
• Assist in keeping the environment safe, clean, and organized.
• Comply w/ ODJFS licensing regulations and Treehouse Learning Center policies and procedures.
• Meet the physical and emotional needs of each child and provide a conducive atmosphere that makes children and families feel valued.
• Come to work on time, enthusiastic and prepared.
• Be flexible with work hours and classroom assignments as they may vary to meet the needs of the center.
