Child Development Schools is seeking an Assistant Teacher to help create a classroom filled with discovery, creativity, learning, and joy. You will work with the Lead Teacher to support young learners through meaningful experiences that nurture curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth.

From hands-on activities and storytelling to daily routines, you will contribute to a warm, welcoming environment where children feel safe and excited to explore the world around them.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom in line with licensing standards.
• Engage with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time.
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher.
• Build relationships with families through daily communication.
• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports.

What Your Day Looks Like

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom


• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements


• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time


• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher


• Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication


• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports

Pay And Benefits

Pay: $11.00-$12.75 per hour, based on experience and education.
