Job summary

Learning Care in Boston is hiring Assistant Teachers to care for children in a supportive, family-focused environment. You’ll follow licensing guidelines, maintain an engaging classroom, and partner with families to support each child’s development.

Qualifications

• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Develop ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.
• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Engage with children and families, observing and planning activities.
• Complete training on childcare and child development topics.

Assistant Teachers:

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay $18.43-$19.14 hourly, Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; based on Position, Education and Experience / any other compensation offered
• Immediate Health insurance (medical, dental and vision), paid time-off and 401K (plus company match) provided for full-time employees.
• Limited medical offered for part-time workers.
• Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification available to all employees
• Monday-Friday work week
