Assistant Teachers support the lead teacher in creating a nurturing, play-based environment. You’ll help set up activities, engage children in learning and discovery, and maintain a safe, welcoming space.
Assist with daily routines, activities, and classroom preparation
Build warm relationships with children and families
Support children’s social-emotional development through positive guidance
Help maintain a clean, organized classroom and meet health/safety standards
High school diploma or GED required; early childhood coursework a plus
Experience with young children (professional or volunteer) preferred
Passionate about outside play and willingness to be outdoors with children for 2-3 hours/day
Enthusiasm, reliability, and a collaborative spirit
Idaho Childcare License (or willing to obtain)
CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
